Because we’re a couple ourselves, connecting with other couples comes naturally. We understand the inside jokes, the quiet moments, the little quirks, and the feeling of being completely yourselves when it’s just the two of you.

Hi, I’m Lisa! Photography has been a part of my life since I was little. My mom was a film photographer, so I grew up surrounded by cameras. After years of photographing traditional weddings, I discovered elopements and absolutely fell in love with how intimate and meaningful they are. My goal is to make you feel comfortable, supported, and fully present throughout your day while I capture the little moments and emotions that make it uniquely yours, so years from now, your photos can bring you right back to how it felt to choose each other.

Hi, I’m TJ! Eloping for me is more than just a wedding, its a spiritual experience, where you can truly connect with your significant other. My goal is to make your elopement the most amazing memory of your life, and to take away all the stress before and during the ceremony. So you can just be yourself and connect with each other.
From our first video call to our night before emails we knew they were the right choice! Their professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care for capturing our story is evident in the photos. The photos are incredible and we still feel the emotion from that day every time we look at them. They take us right back into the moment!

Deeply Connected Elopements was created for couples who want a meaningful experience that reflects their story, their values, and the way they choose to love each other.
OUR STORY
We met in San Diego, California, when TJ was there for a work conference and Lisa was living there at the time. From the very first time our eyes met, we felt something we couldn’t quite explain. A warmth, a sense of familiarity, and a feeling that somehow, we had found someone we had been waiting for.
We came from completely different parts of the world. Lisa was born in Russia and spent 12 years living in the US, while TJ grew up in the Netherlands. Yet despite everything that separated us, we found a connection deeper than anything either of us had ever experienced before.
We only had three days together before TJ had to fly home, so we spent every moment we could with each other. When he left, we stayed connected, talking for hours every day, learning each other’s stories, dreams, little details, and falling deeper in love along the way.
After more than two years of long distance, TJ proposed, and not long after, we had our intimate elopement. We simply couldn’t wait to start our life together and finally call each other husband and wife!!
Our own elopement showed us how powerful it can be to slow down, step away from expectations, and focus on what truly matters: the connection between two people choosing each other.
It made us realize that a wedding doesn’t have to be a list of traditions. It can be intimate, intentional, and completely yours.
That experience stayed with us, and became the reason we created
Deeply Connected Elopements.
Today, we live together in the Netherlands, grateful every day that we found each other. And now, we get to help other couples who feel they’ve found their person create a wedding day that feels just as meaningful, connected, and true to them.
